I was thrilled to join my first ever photographers workshop hosted by Rever Workshop at the beautiful venue in Willard, MO called Sparrow Lane. It was a fun shootout with beautiful styled pieces provided by the amazing vendors.
Sharing to you some of my favorites from the elopement styled shoot.
My final wedding for 2020 and it is a very beautiful, special one. Brittin and Kaylee’s love for each other was so apparent. They were high school sweethearts and it is so beautiful to see their young love blossom into more mature love as they start their lives together with their sweet daughter, Emery. They had their wedding in a family owned barn. The colors were hints of pink, the bridesmaids wore boots, groomsmen wore cowboy hats and it was a beautiful country chic wedding.
Congratulations Brittin and Kaylee, it was an honor to be your wedding photographer and I am so thankful for the privilege of capturing those sweet memories for you guys and your family.
This wedding is definitely a beautiful way to end the year 2020. This year has been a year of blessings and opportunities for me and my photography gig. I never thought that I will be booking weddings this year but I was able to shoot 7 weddings and met beautiful couples and made memories. This year is definitely a year to remember. My goal for 2021 is to serve my clients more in everything I do and to work more on my creative side. Bring it on 2021!
Here’s my favorites from Brittin and Kaylee’s wedding. I hope you guys will enjoy the photos from this lovely day.
I love it when my old client’s comeback for photos. I also love watching my couple’s milestones and how they are growing in their married and family life. I photographed the wedding of Violet’s mom and dad and it was so sweet to watch Deklan and Maddie as parents.
Violet is such a very beautiful baby. The camera loves her sweet angelic face and she was so good all throughout the session. Here are my favorites, I wanted to post it all but I was trying to narrow it down.
I said it before and I will say it again, I don’t do newborn sessions all the time but I love, LOVE doing them. I am having baby fever every time and I think newborns are just the cutest thing ever. I had the chance of taking Kynslee’s newborn photos. I brought all my lighting and accessories and set up a pop-up studio in my client’s home. Kynslee was so chill throughout the session and I can’t wait to show you guys my favorites.
Megan and Zach’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. The venue was incredible, the weather was warm but perfect and seeing them start their life together was just so lovely to watch. As Zach saw Megan walk down the aisle, he can’t keep himself from smiling and it was the sweetest thing. I am a sucker for dad speeches during weddings and I may have shed a tear when Megan’s dad gave his message to the newly weds. It was so special to see them being loved and adored by their family and friends.
Enjoy my favorites from this amazing day! Congratulations Zach and Megan, I am so thrilled to be a part of the new season of your guys’ lives.
Where do I begin? This wedding is special because it was the first time that my husband joined me as my second shooter. I have been training him and he finally agreed to give it a shot… and oh, he did good.
This wedding is whimsical. Clara and Jordan found the most magical location for their wedding. They were married at Stella Springs Weddings in Stella, MO.
They could not have asked for a better day. It was raining all week and turned sunny on their wedding day with a perfect temperature. They had an outdoor ceremony near a small waterfall and the reception was held inside a barn. We had so much fun at this wedding. Jordan and Clara are such a sweet couple and they made us feel comfortable and appreciated.
Few highlights from their wedding day that I won’t forget is when Clara’s dad cried while I was taking their “daddy-daughter” pictures. It was the sweetest thing, making me want to get married again in the Philippines so I can see my dad cry that way. lol. Also, during the reception, the bride and bridesmaid decided to go outside and dip their feet in the water. It was so fun and a memory that the bride and her squad will remember for sure.
Enjoy all of these favorites from Jordan and Clara’s wedding. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Adams! It was so fun celebrating the best day of your lives.
I know my blog posts consist mostly of engagements and weddings but I found something awesome, something that I am really impressed and really excited about and I can’t wait to share.
If you have been following me long enough, you know that I love styling wedding invitations. Shooting invitation suite is probably one of my favorite things to do during weddings. I came across a company that made my wedding invite dreams come true and more. That is Basic Invite.
Basic Invite is a free wedding website that is completely customizable. It is mobile friendly making it so easy to customize invites for every occasion.
They have almost unlimited color options, over 40 different colors of envelopes and over 900 wedding sets to choose from.
They also have instant previews online so you can see your customized cards and make sure that it is exactly how you want it down to the little details.
Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their invitation so they can see the card’s paper quality and how it will print before they have to place their final order. I ordered few samples and I tell you, they did not disappoint.
They even make sure that the back portion of the invites are on point.
Another fun thing that they are offering is a free address collection service. To avail this, all you have to do is to share a link via social media or email, collect addresses and get free envelope printing. You can also have the option to use their seal and send wedding invitations. It is an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP post card included.
Did I mention that they also have a large selection of wedding save the dates? Get the wedding planning going by sending pre-invitations to your guests officially announcing your wedding date. Basic Invite offers foil save the dates, save the date magnets and postcards that you can coordinate with your wedding invitation. So many creative ways to announce your wedding date.
For some unfortunate reason or unforeseen events that you have to postpone your wedding, let your friends and loved ones know through Basic Invite’s customizable change of date cards.
With all these features and services they offer, I can say that this is definitely a one-stop site for wedding invites.
Sam and Annie deserve all the love in the world. Their original ceremony location was cancelled but love is not cancelled and it definitely made a way despite all the hurdles.
They had a simple ceremony that was witnessed by their family and friends and officiated by Sam’s brother-in-law. It was followed with a reception that is full of dancing and celebration.
Sam and Annie, thank you for believing in me. It was a pleasure to be your photographer and capture the best day of your lives. You guys are adored by the people around you. You are both beautiful inside and out. My prayer is that you will have a lifetime of love and happiness. I hope our paths will cross again in the future.
Colton and Katie are MARRIED! I am so excited because it is my second time photographing a wedding at Stella Springs. They had a beautiful summer wedding celebrated with family and friends.
The song with the lyrics, “forever young, I wanna be forever young” won’t stop popping in my head while looking at their photos. Colton’s last name is Young and truly his bride is now forever (Katie) young. Their made-of-honor even mentioned that they should have #foreveryoung as their wedding hashtag.
I love all the shades of blue from their wedding. They did an awesome job in making all the details flow and it was beautiful. They decorated the barn with all these pretty floral pieces and it was perfect.
Colton and Katie are the sweetest couple. You can really feel and see the love that they have for each other. I am so honored to get to know them. Their engagement session was so fun, so I knew that their wedding day would be no different.
Here are some few highlights from Colton and Katie’s wedding day.
-they decided not to do a first look but we planned on having them hold hands before the ceremony so they can read the special vows that they wrote for each other
-since they did not do a first look, Katie decided on doing a fake first look with the best man instead and it was the funniest thing ever
-their grandmothers served as the flower girls and it was so cute
-Colton crying his heart out when he saw his bride walk down the aisle.
Colton and Katie, thank you so much for having me as your photographer. It was such an honor to celebrate your special day and to get to know your family and friends as well. Congratulations again and praying for a lifetime of happiness and love.
Let me tell you a funny story on why we did a part 2 of Sam and Annie’s engagement session. We were supposed to do two outfit changes on their first engagement shoot, Sam was in charge of bringing their second outfit to change since Annie was in a meeting. When it was time for them to change to their second outfits they realized that Sam forgot to bring them. lol. I love that I have built a very fun relationship with Sam and Annie that we can just look back at that incident and laugh.
We rescheduled for another session and it’s a good thing that we did because the photos turned out AMAZING!!! It was 90+ degrees and I was sweating like crazy but Annie and Sam where so cool, never complained and handled the shoot like pros. Enjoy these stunning photos. I am posting a lot because I can’t pick a favorite.
