Jordan and Clara || Wedding at Stella Springs

Where do I begin? This wedding is special because it was the first time that my husband joined me as my second shooter. I have been training him and he finally agreed to give it a shot… and oh, he did good.

This wedding is whimsical. Clara and Jordan found the most magical location for their wedding. They were married at Stella Springs Weddings in Stella, MO.

They could not have asked for a better day. It was raining all week and turned sunny on their wedding day with a perfect temperature. They had an outdoor ceremony near a small waterfall and the reception was held inside a barn. We had so much fun at this wedding. Jordan and Clara are such a sweet couple and they made us feel comfortable and appreciated.

Few highlights from their wedding day that I won’t forget is when Clara’s dad cried while I was taking their “daddy-daughter” pictures. It was the sweetest thing, making me want to get married again in the Philippines so I can see my dad cry that way. lol. Also, during the reception, the bride and bridesmaid decided to go outside and dip their feet in the water. It was so fun and a memory that the bride and her squad will remember for sure.

Enjoy all of these favorites from Jordan and Clara’s wedding. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Adams! It was so fun celebrating the best day of your lives.

Basic Invite: one-stop site for wedding invitation suites, save the dates and change of dates

I know my blog posts consist mostly of engagements and weddings but I found something awesome, something that I am really impressed and really excited about and I can’t wait to share.

If you have been following me long enough, you know that I love styling wedding invitations. Shooting invitation suite is probably one of my favorite things to do during weddings. I came across a company that made my wedding invite dreams come true and more. That is Basic Invite.

Basic Invite is a free wedding website that is completely customizable. It is mobile friendly making it so easy to customize invites for every occasion.

They have almost unlimited color options, over 40 different colors of envelopes and over 900 wedding sets to choose from.

They also have instant previews online so you can see your customized cards and make sure that it is exactly how you want it down to the little details.

Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their invitation so they can see the card’s paper quality and how it will print before they have to place their final order. I ordered few samples and I tell you, they did not disappoint.

They even make sure that the back portion of the invites are on point.

Another fun thing that they are offering is a free address collection service. To avail this, all you have to do is to share a link via social media or email, collect addresses and get free envelope printing. You can also have the option to use their seal and send wedding invitations. It is an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP post card included.

Did I mention that they also have a large selection of wedding save the dates? Get the wedding planning going by sending pre-invitations to your guests officially announcing your wedding date. With all these features and services they offer, I can say that this is definitely a one-stop site for wedding invites.

Sam and Annie | Crane, MO Wedding

Sam and Annie deserve all the love in the world. Their original ceremony location was cancelled but love is not cancelled and it definitely made a way despite all the hurdles.

They had a simple ceremony that was witnessed by their family and friends and officiated by Sam’s brother-in-law. It was followed with a reception that is full of dancing and celebration.

Sam and Annie, thank you for believing in me. It was a pleasure to be your photographer and capture the best day of your lives. You guys are adored by the people around you. You are both beautiful inside and out. My prayer is that you will have a lifetime of love and happiness. I hope our paths will cross again in the future.

Colton and Katie || Stella Springs Wedding

Colton and Katie are MARRIED! I am so excited because it is my second time photographing a wedding at Stella Springs. They had a beautiful summer wedding celebrated with family and friends.

The song with the lyrics, “forever young, I wanna be forever young” won’t stop popping in my head while looking at their photos. Colton’s last name is Young and truly his bride is now forever (Katie) young. Their made-of-honor even mentioned that they should have #foreveryoung as their wedding hashtag.

I love all the shades of blue from their wedding. They did an awesome job in making all the details flow and it was beautiful. They decorated the barn with all these pretty floral pieces and it was perfect.

Colton and Katie are the sweetest couple. You can really feel and see the love that they have for each other. I am so honored to get to know them. Their engagement session was so fun, so I knew that their wedding day would be no different.

Here are some few highlights from Colton and Katie’s wedding day.

-they decided not to do a first look but we planned on having them hold hands before the ceremony so they can read the special vows that they wrote for each other

-since they did not do a first look, Katie decided on doing a fake first look with the best man instead and it was the funniest thing ever

-their grandmothers served as the flower girls and it was so cute

-Colton crying his heart out when he saw his bride walk down the aisle.

Colton and Katie, thank you so much for having me as your photographer. It was such an honor to celebrate your special day and to get to know your family and friends as well. Congratulations again and praying for a lifetime of happiness and love.

Sam and Annie || Big Cedar Lodge Engagement (Part 2)

Let me tell you a funny story on why we did a part 2 of Sam and Annie’s engagement session. We were supposed to do two outfit changes on their first engagement shoot, Sam was in charge of bringing their second outfit to change since Annie was in a meeting. When it was time for them to change to their second outfits they realized that Sam forgot to bring them. lol. I love that I have built a very fun relationship with Sam and Annie that we can just look back at that incident and laugh.

We rescheduled for another session and it’s a good thing that we did because the photos turned out AMAZING!!! It was 90+ degrees and I was sweating like crazy but Annie and Sam where so cool, never complained and handled the shoot like pros. Enjoy these stunning photos. I am posting a lot because I can’t pick a favorite.

Sam and Annie || Big Cedar Lodge Engagement Session

I’m seriously excited to share this engagement session. Ever since Annie messaged me on Instagram to be their wedding photographer, I instantly knew that I’m going to love them. They are so genuine and so sweet to get to know. I’m so grateful and excited to photograph the best day of their lives.

They are going to get married this July at Williams Memorial Chapel in College of the Ozarks. I love hearing all their plans and I am excited to see how it all unfolds.

Enjoy these favorites from their engagement session at Big Cedar Lodge, Missouri. This place is so pretty during this time of the year and the session turned out looking like they taken from a quaint old English garden.

Colton and Katie || Downtown Springfield, MO Engagement

Hands down to all the couples who have to go through all the change because of this pandemic. Colton and Katie planned their perfect day but some of their plans were turned upside down. They came up with a new plan and didn’t give up.

They are the sweetest couple. They were all smiles throughout the whole session and I definitely love it. Colton and Katie are just those people that are full of joy and life, the kind of energy that is so contagious to be around. They made my job way too easy. We went to Downtown, Springfield for their engagement photos. We had the perfect mix of glowy light, dreamy/soft overcast skies.

Enjoy all of these FAVORITES from their session.

Zach and Megan| Downtown Engagement Session

Get ready to see some photos of a cute couple and an adorable pup. I knew Megan from work and I feel so blessed that she picked me as her photographer. Zach and Megan were such a lovely couple. They are so sweet and that definitely made the session fun and easier. When Megan asked me if they can bring along their pup to the session, I instantly said yes. Aspen turned out to be the sweetest addition to the session. She was so behaved and you can tell that she is really loved by both Megan and Zach.

We opted for an industrial/downtown session and picked out downtown Branson and the landing. Before we started the shoot, I found out that Megan and Zach had their first date in one of the restaurants at the landing. We picked the right location and I love hearing stories of them looking back to that day.

Zach and Megan are getting married this September at Venue on Brick in the Ozark. We can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day, but for now here are my favorites from their engagement session.

Collin and Bobbie| Lakeside Engagement Session

I kept telling my couples that though everything is in lock down right now, love is still not cancelled and I am always here to support them in any way that I can. It was so fun to do things out of the ordinary so I brought my little family with me to this engagement session. They just stayed in the car the whole time but it was a breath of fresh air for everyone to just drive around and do something different.

Bobbie found me through a mutual friend and I am glad that our paths crossed. Collin and Bobbie were a perfect match. They are such a happy couple. They were so cool, giggling the whole time and it was fun to capture every minute of it. We took the first part of the session at the Peninsula Lookout in Table Rock Lake. The wind joined the excitement but it didn’t stop us from capturing awesome pictures. For the second half of the session, Bobbie brought us to the farm that her family owned and it was stunning. Here are my favorites from Bobbie and Collin’s engagement photos:

Deklan and Madeline || Intimate Front Yard Wedding

How’s your “quarantine” going? There’s a lot of crazy and scary things in the world right now, so here’s a little sunshine that may brighten your day.

My heart aches for all my couples who has to reschedule due to this Covid pandemic. Deklan and Madeline planned a big wedding with their families and friends but because of the virus, everything changed. From 150 plus guests they have to lower it down to just their parents and siblings. Their love conquered the chaos and we were able to push through with the ceremony. Their wedding ceremony is a total mix of emotions. It made me laugh, cry, then laugh again and cry a little bit more. The day was so intimate, so special.

Hopefully after all these craziness, they will be able to celebrate with the rest of their families and friends in a reception that is scheduled later this year.

Deklan and Madeline, thank you for the trust you placed in me. Thank you for the very kind words. You are both beautiful and I hope that you will love reliving your wedding day through my eyes. May God bless you both as you start this new chapter.
