Mackenzie and Lane || Stockstill Park Engagement Session

I love Spring.

Things are starting to come back to life and we took advantage of it in this engagement session. I found this blooming tree while I was getting Starbucks downtown and though of convincing one of my clients to take some photos there. I asked Mackenzie to trust me about my location choices and I’m glad that she did.

These two are so fun and I’m excited for their wedding at the beautiful Sparrow Lane.

Abby and Ryan || Market 116 Engagement Session

Abby and Ryan decided to take their engagement photos at the same location where they are having their wedding- Market 116. It is a unique, industrial wedding venue settled in Buffalo, MO.

These two are getting married in May and after talking to Abby about her wedding plans, details and colors, it is making me so excited to capture the best day of their lives.

Abby and Ryan, I had a blast capturing your engagement photos and I cannot wait for your wedding. Enjoy these favorites from this fun day.

Emma and Keegan|| In-Home Engagement Session

While we were picking locations for Emma and Keegan’s engagement session Emma told me that she wanted to do an in home session and that she have the perfect house for it. Keegan’s grandma was so sweet to let us use her beautiful home.

Keegan and Emma were so fun and easy to get along not to mention they are one of the sweetest couple I know. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this August at Market 116.

Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.

Emily and Clayton || Fellows Lake, Springfield Missouri Engagement Session

It was my first time shooting an engagement session at Fellows Lake around Springfield, MO area. It was such a beautiful location with variety of views from fields, forest and of course the lake.

Clayton and Emily were so fun to photograph not to mention that they are so cute together. They are sweet and so great together in front of the camera making my job easy. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in June, I already know that it is going to be gorgeous.

Enjoy some of my favorites from Emily and Clayton’s engagement session at Fellows Lake.

Sam and Annie || Big Cedar Lodge Engagement (Part 2)

Let me tell you a funny story on why we did a part 2 of Sam and Annie’s engagement session. We were supposed to do two outfit changes on their first engagement shoot, Sam was in charge of bringing their second outfit to change since Annie was in a meeting. When it was time for them to change to their second outfits they realized that Sam forgot to bring them. lol. I love that I have built a very fun relationship with Sam and Annie that we can just look back at that incident and laugh.

We rescheduled for another session and it’s a good thing that we did because the photos turned out AMAZING!!! It was 90+ degrees and I was sweating like crazy but Annie and Sam where so cool, never complained and handled the shoot like pros. Enjoy these stunning photos. I am posting a lot because I can’t pick a favorite.

Sam and Annie || Big Cedar Lodge Engagement Session

I’m seriously excited to share this engagement session. Ever since Annie messaged me on Instagram to be their wedding photographer, I instantly knew that I’m going to love them. They are so genuine and so sweet to get to know. I’m so grateful and excited to photograph the best day of their lives.

They are going to get married this July at Williams Memorial Chapel in College of the Ozarks. I love hearing all their plans and I am excited to see how it all unfolds.

Enjoy these favorites from their engagement session at Big Cedar Lodge, Missouri. This place is so pretty during this time of the year and the session turned out looking like they taken from a quaint old English garden.

Colton and Katie || Downtown Springfield, MO Engagement

Hands down to all the couples who have to go through all the change because of this pandemic. Colton and Katie planned their perfect day but some of their plans were turned upside down. They came up with a new plan and didn’t give up.

They are the sweetest couple. They were all smiles throughout the whole session and I definitely love it. Colton and Katie are just those people that are full of joy and life, the kind of energy that is so contagious to be around. They made my job way too easy. We went to Downtown, Springfield for their engagement photos. We had the perfect mix of glowy light, dreamy/soft overcast skies.

Enjoy all of these FAVORITES from their session.

Zach and Megan| Downtown Engagement Session

Get ready to see some photos of a cute couple and an adorable pup. I knew Megan from work and I feel so blessed that she picked me as her photographer. Zach and Megan were such a lovely couple. They are so sweet and that definitely made the session fun and easier. When Megan asked me if they can bring along their pup to the session, I instantly said yes. Aspen turned out to be the sweetest addition to the session. She was so behaved and you can tell that she is really loved by both Megan and Zach.

We opted for an industrial/downtown session and picked out downtown Branson and the landing. Before we started the shoot, I found out that Megan and Zach had their first date in one of the restaurants at the landing. We picked the right location and I love hearing stories of them looking back to that day.

Zach and Megan are getting married this September at Venue on Brick in the Ozark. We can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day, but for now here are my favorites from their engagement session.

Collin and Bobbie| Lakeside Engagement Session

I kept telling my couples that though everything is in lock down right now, love is still not cancelled and I am always here to support them in any way that I can. It was so fun to do things out of the ordinary so I brought my little family with me to this engagement session. They just stayed in the car the whole time but it was a breath of fresh air for everyone to just drive around and do something different.

Bobbie found me through a mutual friend and I am glad that our paths crossed. Collin and Bobbie were a perfect match. They are such a happy couple. They were so cool, giggling the whole time and it was fun to capture every minute of it. We took the first part of the session at the Peninsula Lookout in Table Rock Lake. The wind joined the excitement but it didn’t stop us from capturing awesome pictures. For the second half of the session, Bobbie brought us to the farm that her family owned and it was stunning. Here are my favorites from Bobbie and Collin’s engagement photos:

Deklan and Madeline || Engagement

I’m so excited to share with you my FIRST engagement session of the year ! Deklan and Madeline are on of my amazing 2020 couples. They are getting married this April at The Barn at Cricket Creek in Arkansas. I love everything they have planned so far including the wedding flowers and colors. It is going to be so dreamy.

We went to Big Cedar Lodge for their engagement. What is not to love at Big Cedar? It has a little bit of everything. From the quaint buildings, to the field and the lakeside, plus Deklan and Madeline made my job so easy. Such an incredible first engagement of the year with an incredible couple.
